Our Mission
The Island City Research Academy's mission is to provide a thematic research-based learning environment that is student centered and encourages academic excellence. Students will obtain the skills to develop into independent learners, creative problem solvers, and socially responsible citizens. We will provide an enriching and supportive learning environment for students who want to take ownership of their own learning and have the desire to apply their knowledge to projects that will impact society with a focus on environmental sustainability.

School News Silent Sports Raffle! To help raise funds that support the unique programing ICRA provides, we are holding a Silent Sports Raffle. The grand prize is an Old Town Dirigo 106 Kayak or $500.00 cash. Tickets may be purchased from ICRA parents, board members or Mrs. Schnell.
