Every year around the holidays we like to do something to show the middle school staff that we appreciate them. Last year was "Holiday Luncheon Around the World" - we researched a holiday tradition and created foods that represented a country of our choice. The staff stopped by to enjoy the fruits of our labors. This year our theme was "ICRA Winter Solstice Celebration". We researched the science behind the solstice and solstice celebrations from ancient cultures around the world. We then prepared authentic foods for our middle school staff to enjoy.
