Visit to Island City Food Coop Students learned about healthy food during a tour to the Island City Food Coop Duluth Depot The class visited the Duluth Train Museum to gather research on trains for and independent project. Students also visited the natural history displays, the art displays, and the veteran's memorial. Click here for more photos Anderson's Maple Syrup in the Fall Students returned to Anderson's Maple Syrup to continue to GPS trees, estimate tree height using geometry skills, photograph the beautiful fall colors, and learn about the business of maple syrup. Students are working with Anderson's Adopt a Maple program by providing the data for each tree adopted. Their GPS data will also be used to create an interactive map so people can see the geographical location and photographs of the tree.
